Autumn

A good time of year anywhere there is a seasonal forest. Doesn’t last too long and raking is a real pain in the ass but it sure does make for some beautiful scenes.

Cascade Mountains

Driving from Vancouver up to Kamloops after returning from Puerto Rico I took these. The clouds came over the mountains in a pretty cool way. Wish the lighting was a bit better but the sun was hiding at the moment. Did I mention how much I love British Columbia?

I would like to introduce you to my new favorite golf course. Only a few hours from home and about 30 minutes from Kamloops. What a beautiful course. With fairways as short and lush as most greens.

Idea of Quesnel

This is just an idea of the scenery around my home in Canada. Not too special but it’s home and I love it. Seeing a train along the river always perks me up during a long drive.

The links at Quarry Oaks

Went Golfing at Quarry Oaks yesterday. It was a beautiful day in Winnipeg and a great day to be out on the golf course. 4 of us played a 2 vs 2 match play event where we play one of each of the other 2 players for 9 holes. Nicholas and I were too strong this day for Dodds and Toon. They really were not much competition… so we will take new challenges if anyone is up to it! haha. Here are a couple shots from the day.

Bird’s Hill Camp Night

So a bunch of us from team Canada went out to Bird’s Hill Provincial Park for some camping last night. It was a great time. Never a bad call to get out with your best friends and hang out around a campfire. I was playing around a lot with different settings to see how things could turn out with the fire. I think I got a few nice ones. Tough to get the noise reduced with my camera and also have a high enough shutter to capture a good shot without blur. I did what I could so I hope you enjoy.

Summer Vacation

So it seems that the project has fallen off the wagon. I apologize for my lousy effort. However, I do plan to continue to post pictures as they come along.

I just got back to Winnipeg for more training with the national team. For the last 2 weeks I have been traveling across western Canada to see friends and family.

Here are some of the best shots from the trip. If you want any of these in full size then let me know so I can email them to you. Enjoy and feel free to comment!
